To allow your employees to install the application on their Android device (Samsung, HTC, ...) – the Spencer application is made available publicly in the Google Play Store where employees can easily search, install and update the app.
How to get started
Well, to keep it short – you don't have to do a thing. We will make sure that your Spencer application will be properly set up, configured, managed and updated! 🚀
Play Store ownership
No need for you to create a Google Developer account. All of our Spencer application are managed on our own Google Play Developer Account. So you don't have to worry about that! No hassle of making sure the right permissions are granted, policies are set up, certificates are being created, ... Plus it will save you $25 a year! 🙌
Note: If you have your own Google Play Developer Account within your organisation and insist on using it to distribute the Spencer app, please contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss the options.
Private distribution of the Android app
It's perfectly possible to privately distribute the Spencer Android application to your managed devices. Binary files of the application can be delivered to use in your MDM solution, or if you use an Enterprise Mobility Manager (EMM), we can easily make the app available to your organization via Google Play.
Please contact your Customer Success Manager if you need more information about private app distribution on Android.
