Your Spencer application is ready — and now it's time to get all of your employees to use it! To make that possible we offer various solutions to distribute the Spencer application within your organization, whether it's via the app stores or privately distributed through your own (M)DM solution.
To make it as easy as possible for your employees to install the application, all different distribution solutions will be grouped together on your organization's personal Spencer download page.
To allow your employees to easily install the application on their Android device (Samsung, HTC, ...), Spencer is made available publicly in the Google Play Store. The application will be fully managed on our end, so you don't have to worry about anything! No hassle of making sure that the right permissions are granted, policies are set up, certificates are being created, ...
Spencer is a custom application specifically developed for your organization. Apple does not allow to make customs apps available in the public App Store. Apple requires (since November 2020) that custom business applications should be distributed via Apple Business Manager.
Your organization needs to enroll as an Apple Business to purchase the Spencer app (free of charge, of course) and seamlessly distribute it via your MDM solution or by providing redemption codes, which allow your employees to request an installation link via your organization's download page.
Allow your employees to install the desktop application on their Windows 10 computer. The Spencer application will be made available in the Microsoft Store where employees can easily search, install and update the app.
If you don't have Windows 10 (or higher) installed on your computer, you won't be able to download application via the Microsoft Store. Therefore we'll add a link to your organization's download page to download the Spencer application.
The Spencer desktop application on macOS is — at this point — not available via Apple's App Store. But no worries, it's perfectly possible to get the macOS app to your employees. They will be able to download the latest version of the application on your organization's download page.
Note: The downside of not having the app available in the App Store is that the application will not be updated automatically. After each app release, the latest version will be made available to download.
