Editor improvements: components, layouts & brand colors

The Commslab editor has been extended with new and improved components, giving you a lot more flexibility in layout and formatting options.

These include:

  • Quote

  • Contact card

  • FAQ item: a collapsible/expandable question-and-answer block

  • File attachment

  • Video: upload video's and manage them in a shared video library

  • Photo gallery: add up to 20 photos in a scrollable gallery

On top of that you can insert Layouts to divide the page in 2-5 columns:

And yes, other components can be used inside those columns:

Images can now easily be resized to a predefined percentage or completely custom via a drag handle:

It has also become a lot easier to restructure content as every title, paragraph or component can now be moved using convenient drag&drop handles:

Last but not least, you can define up to 10 brand colors for the color highlight component, to ensure your content is always on brand:

Do you want to start with Pages and/or define your brand colors?

Our CS team is here to assist you!

And much more...

There are a lot more improvements and fixes, including:

  • Commslab:

    • easily duplicate an existing Event or Page

    • you know get a clear warning when auto-translation would overwrite an existing translation

  • Back-office:

    • all date picker components now start on Monday instead of Sunday, as we are used to in Europe

    • added the possibility to copy a language

    • new user attribute "additional info url"

    • the "alias" user attribute can now be managed in the BO instead of only via API integration

    • you can now export users belonging to a specific user list

  • App:
