By default we will publish your Apple (iOS) application via the Unlisted method distributed via our Spencer Apple account.
iOS : Unlisted App Distribution
The app is not discoverable in the App Store through search, browsing, or category listings. Only B2C apps are only allowed anymore in the public Appstore.
The app can only be accessed via a direct link. When visiting this link users will arrive in the standard app store environment, and can install the application directly.
You don't have to do anything for the Iphone application, Spencer does the entire setup for you. Let us know if you would still prefer to distribute the app from your own Apple developer account.
Android
The app is discoverable in the Play Store through search, browsing, or category listings. This makes it easy for users to find your platform based on your app name.
Google however requires companies to manage their own developer accounts.
Getting your developer account validated by Google can take a couple days, so don't wait too long to start with this process, as this can delay your go-live.
You will have to share with us your Play store developer account. If you don't have an account yet, you can find all steps here
Web
The webversion is accessible on every modern browser. We recommend that your make Spencer your company default start page when the browser opens.
The standard URL is customer.spencer.app, if you would purchased the custom domain option we can enable app.yourwebsite.com so you have a fully branded URL for easier internal promotion.
Reach out to your sales rep, if you would like to enable a custom domain
Distributing an App via MDM (Microsoft Intune)
You can also push the app directly in your employees devices, if your IT team controls the devices.
Microsoft Intune for example is a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution that allows organizations to distribute and manage apps securely on iOS devices.
Benefits of Deploying Apps via Intune
✅ Centralized App Management – Deploy and manage apps across all devices.
✅ Security & Compliance – Enforce policies like encryption, access control, and data loss prevention (DLP).
✅ Silent App Installation – No user intervention needed for required apps.
✅ Remote App Removal – Uninstall apps from devices when employees leave or change roles.
