This release introduces improved enhanced search functionality, and better document tracking. With new options like private profile fields, keyword highlights, and the ability to link files to library items, users now have more control and ease in managing content.
Impressions on Publications
Impact: Analytics
Currently you could only see how often your content was actually opened. BUT... not all content is always meant to be read in depth. Sometimes a descriptive title and summary can already do wonders.
Your target group will exist of a combination of readers and power-scrollers.
With our new impression metric available in your reporting you will finally be able to understand how employees are digesting your content.
When a new article is 3 seconds in view of the screen, we log an impression.
You will see the unique and total impressions of your news now. This can be in the feed but also in the related news section at the bottom of an article.
This information is available as of your switch to the web browser version, so you will also see this for historical content instantly.
You will now be able to divide your content in
Which content is seen and opened instantly = content with stopping power
Which content has been ignored the most !
Which content needs an additional push as impressions are below expectations
Summary page: Publications
Impact: Web / Mobile App
You can now activate your summary option (optional). This will allow you to add a too long didn't read at the top of your articles, and you will be able to control which short content is shown in the feed to attract more readers.
If you leave this field empty, we will show (like now default) the first part of your article body.
Pro tip: using the summary functionality also is a great way to make your pushed content to digital signage more effective
Ask you success manager if you want to enable this feature
Article Body Adjustments
Impact: Mobile app
The font size and line spacing has been reduced slightly for article bodies, ensuring consistency and readability across the platform.
More content will be visible on smaller screens!
This will be available for all customers by default as of the mobile version 50.1.0
Private Profile Fields
Impact: Web / Mobile App
User Profiles now offer the ability to mark specific fields as private. This allows you to use specific columns in your user imports without the need to add everything as tags. You can use this data to create segmentation groups, without showing this data publicly.
These fields can be hidden only for all employees, so it is an all hidden or all private approach. Ask your success manager in case you want to (un)hide some of these fields
Available fields to hide
Birthday
Contract Type
Country
Division
Business Email
Preferred language
Sub-division
Document Library Updates:
Impact: Web / Mobile App
The system now uses the "modified_at" timestamp, when available, instead of "updated_at" for more accurate tracking of document changes.
The document library will no longer show the last synced date, which was often the same for all files in case of bulk updates or resyncs. The last modified date will now reflect the date you see in Sharepoint/Google Drive
No action required on your end, this will be updated by default
Search Enhancements
Impact: Web / Mobile App
Getting search right, is a delicate balance of variables that control the outcome of your results.
More improvements have been made to search word results, including more precise keyword highlighting, making it easier for users to find relevant content.
No action required on your end, this will be updated by default

Link Library Items with Files
Impact: Back-office
Admins can now directly attach files to link library items.
Want to share a recurring shift planning in pdf or lunch menu item? You do not longer have to host your document on a server first in order to be able to link to this document.
Bonus: It is also less clicks than linking to the document library first.
This is available for all customers, you can try it out instantly
Disable Reactions
Impact: Web / Mobile App
Reactions are very important for some of you, but less crucial for others.
We have now created the ability to disable reactions on published articles completely.
Disabling reactions is across all articles and users. So it is an all on or all off setting.
Why would anyone disable reactions? Reactions remain a vanity metric and reactions are not given that frequently in certain types of organisations. Having low reactions doesn't mean that your content isn't reaching your employees however ! But it could give a misleading effect to senior management and other users that your app has low engagement. If that's the case, disabling reactions can be a great solution.
We believe in the end that the real objective of internal comms is reaching your actual objective and not just receiving likes.
But now this choice is fully up to you!
Ask you success manager if you want to disable reactions
Download attachments from Surveys/Forms
Impact: Back-office
You can now easily download images and files that have been added to a form or survey. No longer needed to download the images via the Excel export file.
